Using AI to give you an edge in stock trading is a MUST these days. With so much market data available, you can’t possibly comb through every piece of information by yourself.

Luckily, platforms like Incite take the hard work out of stock analysis, giving you real insights and easy-to-use tools to help you invest smarter. Incite AI is unique in that it offers chat-based advice — giving stock analysis and recommendations in simple language.

But is Incite any good?

We’ll break down exactly how Incite AI works, how much it costs, what helps it stand out, and if it’s worth your time.

The Bottom Line: Is Incite AI Worth It?

The Incite AI app offers data-driven insights in an easy-to-understand format similar to ChatGPT. It analyzes market data in real-time. This allows you to get your questions answered about a specific stock, company, or other investment with the latest information.

But while Incite offers a free plan that lets you ask a few questions, you’ll need to upgrade to a Pro plan for more messaging allowances. That costs $15.99 per month.

The tool itself is helpful, but with a lack of transparency around data sources and an undefined limit even with the paid plan — it’s hard to recommend Incite AI currently.

What is Incite AI?

Incite AI is a chat-based AI stock and cryptocurrency analysis tool that gives you investing insights in a simple-to-digest format. You can ask Incite AI simple investing questions like:

  • Should I buy TSLA right now?
  • Is Bitcoin a good investment?
  • What is the best small cap value stock right now?
Incite Real-Time Intelligence

Incite AI will answer these questions with details that include market sentiment, technical analysis, and even current market news for a specific stock or crypto.

Incite does not specify where it derives market data currently, so it’s hard to compare with other AI stock analysis platforms.

Key Features & Benefits

This chat-based investing analysis tool allows you to get real-time insights into specific investments. Here are a few features worth noting:

  • AI-Powered Market Analysis. Incite uses AI to review market data and even shares technical analysis such as moving averages and relative strength indicators (RSI).
  • Stock, Crypto & ETF Recommendations. You can ask Incite for stock, crypto, and ETF recommendations based on your investing parameters. Harnessing the power of AI, Incite can break down the details of why to choose a specific investment.
  • News Sentiment Analysis. Incite can give you real-time market sentiment and news stories that can affect specific investments. For example, I asked if Elon Musk’s politics were affecting TSLA stock. It confirmed that the stock’s volatility was partly due to Musk’s temporary government role.
  • Watchlists. Access a semi-autonomous watchlist when you upgrade to Pro to keep track of your favorite stocks.

User Experience & Interface

This is a simple tool without too many bells and whistles. You can start using the Chat features right away, and sign up for a free account quickly.

You can ask questions with the chat features. Incite will reply with market analysis, technical analysis, and actions to take based on the information provided.

Incite - User Experience & Interface

Incite does provide basic charting with some details on the stock, crypto, or ETF you’re looking at. But it’s pretty bare bones. And you can’t execute trades through the platform, or aggregate data in a single screen like you can with other AI stock analyzers.

Incite AI Pricing & Plans

  • Breakdown of free vs. premium features
  • Value for money

Incite AI offers a free plan that gives you a few chat sessions to test out the platform. You can ask questions about a specific stock or investment, and once you’ve used enough sessions, you’ll be asked to upgrade.

The free plan has a set number of chats each day.

The Pro plan costs $15.99 per month (or $159.99 per year) and comes with:

  • Extended limits on messaging, advanced data analysis and real-time visuals.
  • Access to premium data sources.
  • Access to a semi-autonomous watchlist.
  • Opportunities to test new features

The “extended limits” is not defined, so it’s hard to know what the message cap is on the Pro plan. And while “opportunities to test new features” sounds promising, it may not be worth paying for at the moment.

Performance & Accuracy

Incite AI is a very new tool on the market and currently doesn’t have a track record for stock picking performance to speak of. While the tool itself provides valuable insights and analysis of any investment that it supports (over 100,000 of them) — there are no backtested results or case studies out currently.

Alternatives to Incite AI

Now that you know a bit more about Incite, let’s talk about some worthy alternatives.

For AI-Powered Stock Picks: Trade Ideas

How does Incite compare to Trade Ideas? While Incite AI is a simple-to-use tool that is chat-based and similar to ChatGPT, Trade Ideas is a powerful AI stock picker that offers advanced charting and technical insights.

For Investors Who Want More Assistance: Zen Investor

You can get real-time insights and market analysis in a simple chat format with Incite AI, but if you want a more thorough analysis, Zen Investor uses AI-driven data analysis with a human touch.

Zen Investor utilizes a 4-step process to narrow down the top stocks, including AI analysis, review of 115 specific factors, and market analyst picks.

But the final step requires the stock to be hand-picked by Steve Reitmeister, former Editor in Chief of Zacks.com and a market veteran with 40+ years of stock trading experience.

If you’re a long-term investor that wants to find the diamonds in the rough, and want help finding stocks that have outperformed the S&P 500 by over 3x in the last 20+ years, consider taking a look at Zen Investor.

Final Verdict: Is Incite AI Worth It?

Incite AI is a fun tool to use, and can provide real-time insights into any stock, crypto, or ETF you’re considering investing in. But while the platform offers an easy-to-use platform, it’s lacking in technical analysis, charting, and trading strategies that you can execute on.

As the platform grows, we’ll keep an eye on it, but for now, it’s probably only worth trying out the free version for now.
